YOUR FULLY CUSTOMISED
BESPOKE, COAT OF ARMS
With decades of expertise in heraldry, you can trust the House of Heraldry’s Custom Coat of Arms department to create an authentic, balanced design that adheres to the hallmarks of traditional heraldic code.
For a truly personalized approach, we can design a coat of arms that reflects an individual’s identity — incorporating symbols representing their career, field of study, or personal passions.
Collaborate directly with our in-house graphic designer to develop a bespoke coat of arms tailored uniquely to you.
THE PROCESS
Foundation Stage: You select which version of an existing family coat of arms you prefer (there are often multiple variations).
Customisation: You may suggest additional symbols or replacements on your chosen coat of arms. Rough sketches are welcome.
Design Development: Using your input, we create a design draft. We’ll collaborate with you throughout the process, refining the design to perfectly suit your requirements.
Final Adjustments: We make any last alterations requested before finalising your coat of arms.
If no historical record exists for an unusual surname (see Step 1), we can create a custom design inspired by your family’s origins — drawing on regional, county, or town heraldry to incorporate meaningful connections.
Whether rooted in history or crafted as a unique expression, each design is thoughtfully created to make something truly special.
